Gateway announces completion of phase one renovation of Cascades Langley
On the heels of its $70 million entertainment destination, Cascades Casino Delta receiving final British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) approval, Canadian gaming company, Gateway Casinos & Entertainment has revealed phase one of its $18 million renovation and expansion of its Cascades Casino Resort Langley property.

The multi-million project at the Langley, British Columbia destination celebrated the official re-opening of the adjoining Coast Hotel & Convention Centre, unveiling a completely renovated space and transforming the property into a full-service casino resort and competitive in the local events and tourism market.
100 new jobs:
Gateway further reports that the scope of the major renovation and expansion at Casdades Casino Resort will see the creation of 100 new jobs for the local community. Part of phase two of the extensive project, which is expected to be completed next year, will feature a complete facelift of the gaming floor, including 11,000 additional square feet of entertainment, as well as the addition of Atlas Steak + Fish, Gateway’s signature restaurant brand.
Coast Hotel refresh:
The completion of phase one includes $5 million-plus in renovations to the adjoining hotel and 26,000-foot convention centre, which includes new décor in all 77 guestrooms and public spaces, along with the renovation of Match Eatery & Public House including an expanded all-season patio and the addition of a new bingo hall.

Burnaby investment:
The Langley property isn’t the first major project that the operator has recently undertaken in the region surrounding and including Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, having invested a hefty $15 million in its flagship property, Grand Villa Burnaby, which saw renovations to the hotel & convention space and the addition of dining options and gaming space, all of which were completed last month.
